We have been on the Isle of Man since January 1999 and we felt as soon as we set foot in the historic west coast city of Peel that it would be our home. We originally came from Chester, which also has a very historic past but we were looking for a change in our way and outlook on life, so, instead of living in a big city we went looking for this goal.

Prior to moving here we had been to the Isle of Man to see a friend and we totally fell in love with Island, and the wonderful laid back way of life; “Traa-dy-Liooar”, as the Manx saying goes.

The Isle of Man is a pearl in the middle of the Irish Sea, where nowhere is very far away, and there are no motorways. The coastal and inland scenery is stunning in all weathers, with many leisure activities including walking, golf, fishing and exploring the history of Mann. The Island offered us a fantastic opportunity to experience a totally different way of life with lovely fresh air as well as an opportunity to develop professionally.

We found Kimberley House back in January 2006, and the rest is history as we have now lovingly restored this grand Victorian house into 5 holiday apartments for couples to unwind and enjoy the sunset city of Peel.

The apartments all have individual styles with comfortable beds plus clean white bed linen and white towels. We are trying to create the self catering break for our guests, which will give them the freedom of self-catering but providing the “home from home” atmosphere.
